Kinoko no Yama, ie. Mushroom Mtn! These are little chocolate mushroom caps on little biscuit stems. Tell me they're not adorable! They're also the perfect ratio of milk chocolate to lightly salty biscuit.
Full disclosure: Meiji makes two shapes of chocolate-covered biscuits, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots (Kinoko no Yama and Takenoko no Sato). And although between the two of them, they're some of the most popular chocolate snacks in Japan, there's a huge rivalry between those who think the mushrooms are superior and those who think the bamboo shoots are. I fall into the mushroom camp, lol, and not only because I live in Oregon ;) The main difference between the two (besides the shapes) is that the biscuit on the mushrooms is saltier and crunchier and the biscuit on the bamboo shoots is more cookie-like and sweeter. Or at least that's my opinion.
**Chocolate is difficult to ship in the summer so if I were you, I'd time any shipping with cooler weather so that you don't risk it melting.
