Single serving bag of sweet and salty okaki rice crackers, garnished with little bits of nori seaweed.
This style of rice cracker, Okaki, is made with glutinous rice (sweet mochi rice) so it puffs up a lot when you bake it. The resulting okaki is crunchy, yet also light and airy in texture. I don't exactly know how to describe the texture in English, but in Japanese, it's 'saku saku'. These are glazed with shoyu and sugar so the coating has a candied quality. The flavor isn't too strong and the balance between salty and sweet makes it hard to stop eating.
