If you're reading this, you're super lucky cuz you have the opportunity to order these special okaki! There's only a finite amount of this coming into the States this year so when its gone, it's gone! (Also...get them before I eat them all!) #youvebeenwarned
Do you want to try some really good Japanese rice crackers? Like ones made by a smaller okaki-maker who doesn't really make enough to export? Jump on these STAT cuz there's only a small amount available, and once they're gone, they're gone.
This is an assortment of individually wrapped okaki (rice cracker) made in Niigata, Japan, a region renowned for rice. There are 4 flavors: salt, shoyu, nori, and sweet & salty, and they're all individually wrapped. The texture of these really emphasizes what I love about this style of rice cracker: they're crunchy on the outside and soft and crumbly on the inside. They're made from fried mochi rice (short grain sweet rice used to make mochi) and that's what gives it its texture.
These are in the States right now to celebrate the New Year, a little thank you gift for you! (Tho tbh, I was expecting these to come in a nice tin but they're just bagged up inside a flimsy box. The presentation isn't quite omiyage-grade but the contents def are!)
Make sure to order these before I eat them all.
3.23 oz *contains about 18 individually wrapped pieces.
Pescatarian. Contains soybeans, wheat, and bonito (tuna).
