Swallow features smaller, traditional-style ochoko (sake cups). In Japan, in less casual drinking scenarios, you don't pour for yourself. Rather, it is each person's job to keep an eye on their friends' cups and make sure that they are always full. The small ochoko size comes out of this tradition and facilitates lots of sharing and interactivity in drinking.
This one-of-a-kind ceramic sake set is a collaboration with Ware Ceramics in Portland, Oregon.
Ware Ceramics is a Portland ceramics collective featuring small-batch, limited-run ceramics from a variety of local artists. These sake sets are an exclusive collaboration with Fulamingo and were made by Ware founders Charlotte Deason Robillard (Punctuation Ceramics) and Heather Gray (A Gray Day Pottery).
