The divot bowl is a bowl that invites interaction; your hand fits so satisfyingly in the divots that it makes you want to pick up the bowl and slurp some noodles out of it. There are no sharp edges so your food won't get caught on the divots tho. Approximately 6" x 5.5" x 2.5". They are about 3/16" thick. These are solid plates that are impossible to chip (ok, but don't actually try it) and are made to withstand industrial dishwashers at restaurants. Each bowl is handmade so there are little variations from one bowl to the next. I love the wabi-sabi quality of the bowls, and they're especially adorable when you stack them.
Luscious Porcelain is a local ceramicist who is the darling of the restaurant industry. You may have had the pleasure of using her ceramics at Berlu, Mae, Dame, Langbaan, and several other local restaurants. If you've eaten food off her dishware, you know how special they are. They are very heavyweight but encompass a fragility in their shape. They reflect nature in that they are all almost identical but have slight variations. None of them are perfectly circular, but rather slightly oblong.
