Ponzu is a condiment that is underrepresented in the States IMHO. It is basically a shoyu (soy sauce) with dashi and citrus. This one is made by a 150+ year shoyu brewery and is made using 4 kinds of Japanese citrus: yuzu, sudachi, daidai, and yokou. The aromatics of this ponzu are out of control!!
My mom always boiled crab and we ate it cold with chopsticks dipping it in ponzu. It pairs beautifully with all other white fish, too, as well as veggies, or mixed in with mayo. Honestly, there's not much that isn't more delicious with ponzu on it.
