These have been a coveted treat for me my whole life: individual almonds each meticulously covered in milk chocolate. How are they each coated so perfectly? Every time I eat them, I imagine what type of machinery could create such marvels. 

Japanese chocolate is very milky and sweet, not really dark or bitter. In this case, the bitterness to balance the sweetness comes from the almonds, and they really nailed the perfect ratio of chocolate to almond. These are a treat to indulge yourself in (be prepared to eat the whole box in one sitting) or they make the perfect gift for someone who deserves to know how special they are :)

I don't know what makes these so magical, but they are.
