This is a delicious ginger ale syrup that you can add to sparkling water, cocktails, or hot water to make delicious sodas, drinks, or teas. This recipe comes from Kuze Fuku & Son's parent company, St Cousair, of Nagano Japan. They put this recipe together to serve handmade ginger ale at their restaurant and now they bottle it so you can enjoy delicious restaurant-grade drinks at your house too!
This is made with ginger, ginger juice, grapefruit peel, grapefruit & lime juices, and cane sugar.
To make ginger ale, combine 1 part ginger ale mixer with 3 parts sparkling water.
For cocktails, substitute this mixer for simple syrup. (You may need to add a splash more simple syrup, depending on how sweet you want your drinks). It'd be especially great in gimlets, daiquiris, and hot toddys.
To make ginger tea, combine 1 part ginger ale mixer with 3 parts water and gently heat. Add a little honey and or lemon if you prefer it sweeter or tarter.
Made by our friends Kuze Fuku & Sons, a Japanese family making Japanese-based foods in Newberg, OR.
