I like the Kibun Organic Natto in particular because, aside from the obvious organic aspect, these little beans are a little bit bigger than the average Japanese natto bean. And of course, the natto is just delicious. 

In case you are unfamiliar with natto, and this page is your first time encountering it, natto is fermented whole soybeans. They are savory, slimy, and very good for you. Because of their slimy texture, it's considered for many westerners to be an acquired taste, and one of Japan's less accessible foods.

For a basic way to serve natto, just open a thawed packet, and using chopsticks, mix in the mustard and tare sauce that's included. Mix it up really good and you'll start to see the textural magic of natto come to life. The beans will get foamy and slimy! This is a great thing. Then, serve the natto on a small portion of rice. Optional toppings could be chopped green onions, nori, kimchi, or other Japanese pickles. It's a great breakfast food!
