Excellent inexpensive sake from arguably the most famous sake-water source in Japan (Just outside of Kobe). Everyday sake that's great for drinking and exceptional for cooking with! One glass for me, one glass for the kabocha squash simmering in dashi...

It's remarkably sturdy as well, for not oxidizing or losing flavor after being open for a long time. It seems like we always have an open carton in the fridge for sipping on whenever, and even as a month or more goes by, it's still great, simple, and delicious sake. 

The profile is fresh and fruity, lightly dry. Overall, crisp and smooth. It works nicely at all temperatures.
