The design on this tea mug is simple and brilliant: The silicon strainer basket sits snugly in its tempered glass mug. Add your loose leaf tea. Add your hot water. Cover and brew. Then, when you're done brewing, the lid acts as a dish to hold the strainer basket while you enjoy your tea. Having this mug around has opened up my world to the amazing variety of Japanese loose leaf teas out there. We are no longer chained to the teabag! Rejoice.
