I've always preferred udon over ramen. My brother has always preferred ramen over udon. It was a whole thing in our family. So even though this is just an instant version of udon, I still crave this more often than I eat instant ramen. 

Just put in the seasoning powder and add hot water to the line and let it sit for 5 minutes. When it's done, add the tempura 'cookie' on top and it will melt into tempura bits. Don't forget the togarashi. Why eat udon if you' re not going to add togarashi?

Disclaimer: This isn't udon that's going to change your world (while good udon in Japan certainly will) but it's great for those times when you're hungry and you want a meal that will hug you from the inside.
