If you're reading this, you're super lucky cuz you can order these daifuku if you want! This was an opportunity I couldn't pass up, but unfortunately, they're not always going to be available. In fact, we'll be lucky if we get them once a year.
This is a box of a dozen small daifuku (3 cm) made in Kyoto. They are rolled in matcha and filled with a tiny amount of azuki. The texture is so soft and ethereal. When I gave one to Erik, he said, 'It tastes like Kyoto!' If you haven't been to Japan, you probably haven't eaten a daifuku this good.
At the request of the company, these are stored frozen. Once they thaw, please enjoy them within three days to ensure freshness. (They get a little chewier after a couple of days, but I like that too.)
