New Product! We've been patiently awaiting the Portland arrival of Miho Imada's Fukucho "Seaside", and now it's here. And it is delicious.

Bubbly, dry, mineral, and medium bodied, with notes of citrus, hay, rice, limestone, and ocean mist. This is a dead-on perfect pairing for so much seafood (and non-seafood too). Seaside is wonderful with light and restrained fish preparations, such as the obligatory sushi, but it really shines with richer, brighter, and deeper oceanic exhibitions: ceviche (especially), grilled white fish, fatty mackerel, OYSTERS, Spanish octopus, and so much more. It's also massively friendly with fruit salads (watermelon with tajin!), grilled asparagus, salty cheeses, cured meats, olives, pesto, and eggplant.

Seaside was brewed to go with seafood, which is a specialty of Hiroshima, where Miho Imada brews Fukucho.
