Mochi purchased online is only available frozen, and for delivery or pickup only, in Portland Oregon. Sorry, we can't ship it.

Mochi made locally by Konko Church, here in Portland. It is prepared and available fresh on every 2nd Saturday for purchase at Wellspent Market! On the next day we freeze it. 

To cook frozen mochi, treat it just as you would the fresh stuff. You can bake, grill, or boil it depending on the application. Just cook it til it's soft and tender!

Some of Fulamingo's favorite ways to eat mochi are Isobeyaki, in udon soup (Chikara Udon!), or on new years in Ozoni soup. Here's a nice article with more information.
