Hiyaoroshi Sake season is here!

Wakatake "Demon Girl" (Oni-otome) is light and smooth, with a mild woody savoriness. It's subtly nutty with a hint of apple and pear to balance the savory notes. Always a crowd-pleaser, Oniotome is easy going and refreshing.

Hiyaoroshi are special Fall-released sake which are special lots set aside each spring when brewing wraps up, and aged over the summer. These seasonal sake are pasteurized just once, before aging. These bottlings are specially crafted to go with autumn cuisine, and show a unique balance of fruit, savory, nutty, and  have a certain richness to them. They are a great way to warm up to the incoming cold weather!
