Made with fresh, local yuzu juice blended into the brewery's craft Junmai sake, Yuzu Omoi is citrusy, tangy, fragrant, and easy drinking. The citrus character is juicy and layered, reading like whole lemons, tangerines and grapefruits got juiced together next to a flower shop. The texture is like lemonade, being slightly sweet but balanced by refreshing acidity. People who might find other sake to typically have too strong an alcohol presence tend to find Yuzu sakes pleasant and easy to drink.  The alcohol content of Citrus Dream is only 7%.

Yuzu fruit is a Japanese citrus that is sort of like a less-tart, super aromatic, sweet lemon. It gets used a lot in Japanese cooking and shows up in delicious ingredients like  ponzu sauce, yuzu chili powder, dressings, salted yuzu juice, and yuzu-kosho chili paste.
